Congressional Baseball Game

Attend the Congressional Base Ball game. Every summer, Democratic and Republican members of Congress challenge each other in a charity baseball game supported by corporate sponsors. For the past ten years, WLC has been one of the fortunate beneficiaries of the proceeds of this annual summer event.

Holiday Gift Wrapping

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, volunteers for the WLC wrap gifts at local bookstores for donations. It is a terrific fundraiser for us and great fun for the volunteers.

Love Letters for Literacy

Every February on Valentines Day we hold a special event featuring authors, broadcasters and celebrities who read works on the subject of love. The evening's event features a WLC student who reads as well. The event starts with a reception and dinner, and ends with dessert and drinks.
